Is this the “short” conversion, it looks like the wheelchair is sitting behind the middles seats instead of in between as I’ve seen in some others? Also, is it possible to keep the OEM middle seats and just reposition them further to the side to allow a wheelchair to sit in the middle? I’ve seen this in some previous models.

No, this is not the short conversion. This model allows most wheelchair users to sit in between the second row seats depending on the (like all converted vans) wheelchairs users size/needs. We are able to provide you a half cut version which keeps the middle row OEM seats. Again, depending on the wheelchair users size/needs. What good is this unit? A handicapped person cannot transfer to the drivers seat. So you roll up the ramp, then what, starve to death or wait for the vehicle to move itself. Get a solution, not a problem.
